Hi Ken My name is Elaine and I am a friend of Rob Christie's which is how I came across your website. I absolutely love your paintings and the natural vistas in your part of the world are breathtakingly beautiful. If I can ever get out there I would like to buy one, that's if I can afford it. I live in South Africa so first I have to earn a lot of MUNNY!!!! For what its worth I think you are a superb artists - but in context you have to know - I am only a shrink! Take care Ken, Kind regards, Elaine. The one with the wave crashing on the beach with the sand all caught up in it is amazing - reminds me of where I lived before...

WOW! I love your work. I don't usually post comments but your paintings have evoked an emotional response unequal to any art I've seen. I am an artist searching for and developing my own style, not happy with the 'here's a tree and this is a mountain, don't they look real?' aproach. Personally I haven't much use for abstract art either as I need to have something to relate to. You have blended nature with art beautifully. I love the way you use color and light and how selective you are with detail. What an inspiration! Thank you for sharing.

Hello! I found your website searching for artists who paint clouds and skies. I very much like your paintings of skies, but liked "Den of Alyth" even more. I also liked the snow scene with splash of magenta in the sky. Alas, I am not a potential client, just another landscape painter who is similarly fascinated with light on trees, through trees, and in the sky. I live and work in Buena Vista, Georgia, in the U.S., and wish you every success with your striking and lovely artwork.

Your paintings of trees are very interesting and expressive. They start off from a realistic base, yet for all that are very personal , sometimes almost abstract, some times rather fantastical.

I am glad to have found your web pages. Today I purchased an artist box that converts into a tabletop easle. This will enable me to do some painting on my deck this summer. I live near Montreal,Canada so winter outdoor painting would be definitely a big stretch for me especially since I have never painted outdoors since I began oils over 5 years ago. My studio is in the basement and the lighting is not good so I will do some experimenting with colours now that I can see what colours look like in daylight.Thanking you for sharing your experience in such a delightful way kindest regards, Pat St. Bruno, Quebec,Canada

Long an admirer of JMW Turner, I intended this painting to be an acknowledgement of his unique vision, so far ahead of his time.
