Hi Ken: Loved your site, particularly the castles. I plan on doing some painting in pastels next year 2004 around Foyers where my Fraser ancestors lived until they came to nova scotia in 1802. Do you do any work in pastels, and if not do you know of any workshops in the Boleskine or Foyers area?

I really love your artwork, I'm working in independent Studio Portfolio, which is a senior art class. Art is my life, and I love to paint. But your skyscapes are beautiful, and only do I wish I could paint like that. Included in my class we have to write a three page paper, and just to inform you to let you know, just a regular student like me, is studying and writing a paper on your work.

Check me out at www.miseres.com if you are interested. I did a gig at Fountainhall the other day. It was the first time i had been back for ages. A bit like a dream actually. Well, all the best, Kim

I would just like to say your artworks are superb!, I usually paint in water colour, in my case though it is as a pastime, I have been asked to do a painting in Oil recently it is some 36X48ins, so you can understand me when I say I am a little nervous, however in regard to your art, as I have said I think it superb, my favorite artist would be Rembrandt and untill I had looked at your paintings I thought many had given up on painting in detail, your detail and capture of mood is well brilliant, were there a way to contact you for advice I would not hesitate, I wish you well and every success in your art, you have made my day thanks Jim.

If you ever find yourself compelled to recreate this image I'd be very interested in purchasing that piece. your work is spectacular! Thanks, Terry

Congratulations you have captured the spirit of Turner in your paintings! I have a long admiration for Turner and the late works of Monet, in which both seem to be on the edge of abstraction, whilst clearly depicting the wonders of mother nature. I am an artist who grew up in England and now lives in the USA. I still think the British painters like Turner are unique, I enjoyed your web-site and wish you luck in your quest to take the language of Turner a step further. Adam.

Long an admirer of JMW Turner, I intended this painting to be an acknowledgement of his unique vision, so far ahead of his time.
